Milestones
• I was born December 19th 1961 at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.
• I grew up in Broenshoej, Copenhagen.
• I went to school at Kirkebjerg Skole in Vanløse, Copenhagen untill 7th grade.
• From 28.08.1977 to 17.06.1978 I had 8th grade at SUH Continuation School of Sydvestsjaelland in Haarslev (Sydvestsjællands Ungdomsskole Hårslev) near Fuglebjerg, Denmark.
• 1978 - 1980 9th-10th grade I was at "J.E.G.-skolen", Jyderup Erhvervsrettede Grundskole in Jyderup (School of education with a vocational slant) (the buildings was once used as a paint and enamel factory and after the school was closed, the buildings were used as state prison which it still is).
• For a periode employed at The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain factory as unskilled
labourer and cleaner.
• When Slotsherrensvej (the street beside the house i lived in) became too
noisy, I moved with my parents and my sister Karina to Slagelse about 100
Kilometers from Copenhagen.
• I started at EFG (basic vocational courses) in august 1981 and was educated
Kontormaskinmekaniker (service engineer of typewriters, copiers etc) at Viborg Tekniske Skole untill December 31 1984.
• From March 1 1985 - January 11 1990: worked with technical service of the personal computers called "Partner", "PICCOLINE" and peripheral devices like matrix-printers, Daisy wheel printers, laserprinters and monitors at Rengecentralen.
• June 7 1990 - present: Employed at University of Copenhagen, The IT department, here self-taught UNIX system administrator.
• Fall 1990 - August 25 1998: Took Greenlandic lessons 3 hours a week.
• Marts 8 1997 moved back to Frederiksberg in Copenhagen and still trying to
make out the Greenlandic language.
• September 1997 I joined The Ydun Choir (they sing Danish, Nordic, classic songs and so called "Negro spirituals" - no offence, but that's what they're called).
• January 1998 I founded The Ydun Choir website.
• February 2000 - December 2000: Took Japanese lessons.
• January 7th 2001 went to Entrance Examination at the Copenhagen Community Gospel Choir and passed.
• January 22nd 2001 Started at Copenhagen Community Gospel Choir.
• Februar 3rd 2001 First concert with Copenhagen Community Gospel Choir. It went well despite the short time in the choir.
• Februar 8th 2001 Began taking singing lessons.
• April 22nd 2001 Copenhagen Community Gospel Choir changed it's name to Copenhagen Gospel Choir.
• Short after startet as webmaster for Copenhagen Gospel Choir
• December 19th 2001 left The Ydun Choir.
• August 11th 2008 at 09:08:27 got a ♥ new girlfriend ♥ :-D
• April 27th. 2003 founded Fuglebakkehus.dk.
• November 27th 2008 went to Entrance Examination at the True Gospel Singers and passed. True Gospel Singers' conductor and choir master is former conductor and choir master for Copenhagen Gospel Choir.
• December 4th 2008 Started at True Gospel Singers.
• December 15th 2008 Copenhagen Gospel Choir had it's final performance. The choir ended it's activities by the end of 2008 after more than 25 years.

Honest
I am very honest. My most intimate posts are mostly "friends only", though I prefer to make most of my posts public. If you're interested you may ask me to friend you (but who bother reading it anyway). I have been forced to hide some posts due to threads. This does not mean that I want to hide them, just that you can't see them if you're not registered as mu LJ friend.

Kids
I have two kids from my previous merrage. One of each. I love my kids very much.

Work
I work as a system administrator in the IT department at University of Copenhagen, where I have been working... a very long time. Since June 7th 1990.

Laisure
I am a tenor in Copenhagen Gospel Choir, counting about 100+/- members. Quite a few people have told me that I have a nice voice (blush). I also manage the gospel choir's website and help anywhere I can in the choir. Most of my spare time is used for the choir. The choir is my life. We have such a great cohesiveness.

Computers
Computers interest me. I use them for alot of things that can be done on a computer, but only what a lot of others would do like reading news, online shopping, netbanking, programming and so on. Please read on.

Enthusiast, not a nerd
At home I use the computer like everybody else, for e-mail, browsing the web, reading news, as well as programming the gospel choir's website (ASP). So don't call me a nerd. I am not the anti-social, lonely guy with only one interest! Computer folks are not nerds by default and nerds is not limited to computer users. I am an enthusiast, but that doesn't make me antisocial and lonely and I do have other interests.

Helping people
Often acquaintances, friends and family ask me to help them with their computer. I do like to help anywhere I can where my skills are good but, I tent to decline when people ask me for computer aid, because it has been getting way too much work. Even I would like to help them, because I know how frustrating it can be when it doesn't work, it sometimes gets too much, when I use all my day working with computers at work also.
